Air Compressors and Air Treatment Systems

Compressed air has long been described as the fourth utility after electricity, natural gas and water. It is often the perfect energy resource for many industrial, commercial and instrument applications. During the act of compressing air, moisture naturally forms. Removing this moisture with an air dryer is vital to avoid costly equipment failure, product contamination and distribution system breakdown.

  • Keep lubricants from being washed away from downstream components extending product life.

  • Reduce product contamination in applications such as mixing, conveying, cooling and product blow down.

  • Reduce compressed air system corrosion which would increase pressure drop and operational costs.

    CDHM Series Dual Tower Desiccant Air Dryers

    Dual Tower Desiccant Air Dryers

    The CDHM Series desiccant air dryers use the proven “Pressure Swing Adsorption” (PSA) method for drying wet compressed air. This requires having two identical towers containing hygroscopic desiccant. The unique design of the CDHM Series allows for the dryer to start and stop with a compressor or point-of-use equipment to eliminate purge loss when off. The solid state memory feature allows the dryer to start where it left off in the drying cycle to prevent wet air downstream.

By combining these three items, you receive standard 5 micron filtration, excellent regulator flow characteristics with minimal pressure drop and high quality lubrication to your vital pneumatic components. The compact, flexible design allows for easy service while the patented Flow-Guide® ensures years of trouble-free operation.

    FEATURES

    • Compact, flexible design

    • Easy to service

    • Manual drain - standard

    • Automatic mechanical drain - optional

    • Quick disconnect metal bowl with sight gauge and safety warning latch

    • Balanced valve design for superior reulation characteristics

    • Lubricator can be filled under pressure

    • Variable Flow-Guide™orifice maintains constant oil-to-air ratio, regardless of air flow.

    BENEFITS

    Champion industrial duty particulate filters are designed for the removal of solid contaminants down to 5 micron and the separation of bulk liquids. The optional coalescing filters are designed for protecting critical applications and expensive pneumatic equipment by preventing oil aerosols and sub-micronic particles from damaging expensive components. Champion lubricators inject an oil aerosol into the flowing air stream to automatically provide the proper amount of internal lubricant to vital pneumatic components. Champion heavy duty air line regulators are a convenient and low cost method of reducing a supplied air pressure to a desired outlet pressure. The regulator transforms a fluctuating inlet pressure to a more constant reduced pressure which extends the life of pneumatic components and reduces energy consumption.

    Filters

    CFF Series air filters provide your compressed air system with premium quality filtration for the three typical contaminant types:

    1. solid particles come from ambient air contaminants like dust and from rusted, oxidized pipework. They will cause pneumatic equipment to malfunction, cause instrument and control failures, and contaminate end products;

    2. condensed water droplets come from the humidity in ambient air. Water will oxidize pipework and pneumatic equipment, ruin paint finishes and end products and;

    3. liquid oil and oil vapors are introduced by compressor lubricants and by hydrocarbon vapors present in ambient air. Oil-free compressed air is particularly important in food and pharmaceutical processes.

    FEATURES
